THE PIPE SEAL (1) COMPRISES A BASE PORTION (11), A TOP PORTION (12) AND A SEALING PORTION (13). THE TOP PORTION (12) AND THE SEALING PORTION (13) ARE INTEGRALLY MANUFACTURED FROM A RUBBER COMPOUND AND IS THEN FUSED TO THE BASE PORTION (11). USING DIFFERING RUBBER COMPOUND AND A SPECIAL COMPOUNDING TECHNIQUE THE BASE PORTION (11) IS HARDER THAN THE TOP PORTION (12) AND THE TOP PORTION (12) IS HARDER THAN THE SEALING PORTION (13). THE RUBBER COMPOUND WITH THE RIGHT RIGIDITY AND ELASTICITY ALLOWS THE SEAL TO BE INSTALLED AND UN-INSTALLED SEVERAL TIMES.
