GOLF CLUB HEAD A GOLF CLUB HEAD IS PROVIDED WHICH ACHIEVES SMALL DIFFERENCE OF CARRY EVEN IF THE HITTING POINT MOVES ALONG DIRECTIONS TO A CROWN OR A SOLE COMPARED TO THE CASE OF 5 HITTING THE SO-CALLED SWEET SPOT. AT A CENTER PORTION ON THE BACKSIDE OF A FACE (I I ), A THICK PORTION (20) EXTENDING APPROXIMATELY ALONG THE X-DIRECTION IS PROVIDED. THIS THICK PORTION (20) FORMS FOUR DIVIDED SURFACES ON THE BACKSIDE OF THE FACE (I 1) WHICH ARE A CROWN PORTION (MC), A SOLE PORTION (MS), A TOE PORTION (MT) AND A HEEL PORTION (MH). THICKNESSES OF THESE FOUR PORTIONS INCLUDE TWO OR MORE KINDS IN A MANNER IN WHICH THE -10 THICKNESSES OF THE CROWN PORTION AND THE SOLE PORTION ARE SMALLER THAN THICKNESSES OF THE TOE PORTION AND HEEL PORTION.
