THE METHOD (100) COMPRISES INITIATING A MESH OPERATIONAL MODE (102), ESTABLISHING AT LEAST ONE TUNNEL CONNECTION BETWEEN A PLURALITY OF ADJACENT RELAY STATIONS (104) AND CREATING AT LEAST ONE MESHAGENT ZONE (106) TO TRANSPORT A PLURALITY OF MEDIUM ACCESS CONTROL (MAC) PACKET DATA UNIT (PDU) BETWEEN THE PLURALITY OF ADJACENT RELAY STATIONS.
