THE AUXILIARY FILTER ACCORDING TO THE PRESENT INVENTION COMPRISES A HOLLOW CYLINDRICAL PAPER SHEATH (4), A MENTHOL FILTER ELEMENT (6) PLACED INSIDE ONE END PORTION OF THE PAPER SHEATH (4) TO LEAVE A CAVITY CAPABLE OF RECEIVING A MOUTHPIECE END OF A FILTER-TIPPED CIGARETTE (FC) AS A ROD-SHAPED SMOKING ARTICLE IN THE OTHER END PORTION OF THE PAPER SHEATH (4), AND A SLANT OPEN END (8) FORMING THE OTHER END OF THE SHEATH (4) AND TILTING RELATIVE TO AN AXIS OF THE PAPER SHEATH (4).
