Abstract
THE PRESENT INVENTION PROVIDES A PROCESS FOR PRODUCING LIPASE ENZYME AT A HIGH YIELD BY CULTIVATING A LIPASE-PRODUCING MICROORGANISM ON NATURAL SOLID SUBSTRATES SUCH AS AGRICULTURAL CROPS, LIGNOCELLULOSIC AGRICULTURAL RESIDUALS OR INERT SUPPORT, THE PROCESS COMPRISING GROWING ASPERGILLUS NIGER IN A SOLID FERMENTATION MEDIUM CONTAINING CARBON, NITROGEN, MINERALS, WATER AND OTHER NUTRIENT SOURCES IN THE PRESENCE OF AN INDUCER TO OBTAIN A FUNGAL BIOMASS, EXTRACTING THE LIPASE ENZYME FROM THE FUNGAL BIOMASS WITH A BUFFER AND SEPARATING THE FUNGAL BIOMASS FROM THE BUFFER EXTRACT TO PRODUCE A CULTURE FILTRATE CONTAINING THE LIPASE ENZYME.
