Abstract
A FLUID MIXING CHANNEL STRUCTURE WHICH CAN DECREASE A MIXING LENGTH L NECESSARY FOR MIXING TWO TYPES OF FLUIDS AND WHICH CAN PERFORM EFFICIENT MIXING IS PROVIDED. IN A FLUID MIXING CHANNEL STRUCTURE WHICH MERGES EFFLUENT SEAWATER FLOWING IN A DISCHARGE CHANNEL (11) AND DILUTING SEAWATER FLOWING IN A FLUID CONDUIT (12) TO FORM MIXED SEAWATER TO BE RETURNED TO THE SEA, THE FLUID CONDUIT (12), FROM A SIDESURFACE, IS MERGED WITH THE EFFLUENT SEAWATER, FLOWING IN THE DISCHARGE CHANNEL (11), BELOW A WATER LEVEL, AND A FIRST WEIR (14) AND A SECOND WEIR (15) ARE PROVIDED BELOW THE WATER LEVEL AT A CONFLUENT PORTION (13) BETWEEN THE FLUID CONDUIT (12) AND THE DISCHARGE CHANNEL (11), SO THAT THE EFFLUENT SEAWATER FLOWING IN A BOTTOM SURFACE PORTION IN THE FLOW DIRECTION IS REGULATED.
