THE PRESENT INVENTION PROVIDES A BRAKE PAD WEAR ALERT SYSTEM (10) FOR DETECTING THE ABRASION AND THE LEVEL OF THICKNESS OF A VEHICLE BRAKE PAD COMPRISING IN COMBINATION, A VEHICLE BRAKE ASSEMBLY INCLUDING A BRAKE PLATE, A BRAKE PAD SECURELY ATTACHED ON SAID BRAKE PLATE, AN ELECTRICAL CONDUCTIVE SENSOR MEANS (14) MOUNTED ON SAID BRAKE PAD, AND A BRAKE DISC (12), WHEREIN SAID SENSOR MEANS (14) BEING ELECTRICALLY CONNECTED TO A WARNING MEANS (15), A RELAY (17), AND TO ONE LINE OF THE VEHICLE BATTERY, AND SAID BRAKE DISC (12) BEING CONNECTED TO THE OTHER LINE OF A BATTERY (13). THE SENSOR MEANS (14) WHICH ARE MADE OF HIGH CONDUCTIVE CARBON BRUSH, WILL MAKE AN ELECTRICAL CONTACT WITH THE BRAKE DISC WHEN THE BRAKE PAD HAS WORN-OUT AT A CERTAIN LEVEL OF THICKNESS THEREBY ALERTING THE DRIVER OF THE NEED TO REPLACE SAID BRAKE PAD, THROUGH THE WARNING MEANS WHICH IS INSTALLED PREFERABLY AT THE DASHBOARD OF THE VEHICLE.
