Abstract

The invention relates to a scaffolding system (20) comprising a plurality of scaffolding elements (10) each of which has two supports (12) that are arranged substantially parallel to each other and at least two stiffening elements (14) for stiffening the parallel support arrangement, wherein the scaffolding element comprises exactly one transverse connecting element (16) which is asymmetrically arranged in a longitudinal direction of the supports (12), and is fixed between the supports (12) thereby connecting them and wherein the stiffening elements (14) are attached at the transverse connecting element (16). The invention further provides a method for erecting a scaffolding system. Fig 1
