Abstract
[SUBJECT] A GROUND IMPROVEMENT METHOD WITH LOWER COST IS PROVIDED BY EVALUATING THE CONSTRAINT EFFECT OF THE GROUND SOIL APPROPRIATELY AND ARRANGING THE STABILIZED BODIES RATIONALLY. [SOLUTION] THIS INVENTION PROPOSES A GROUND IMPROVEMENT METHOD WHICH CONSTRUCTS THE STABILIZED BODIES IN THE GROUND WITH THE ARRANGEMENT OF STABILIZED BODIES (1) WHICH CONSTRAIN THE DEFORMATION OF THE GROUND WHEN IT IS APPLIED WITH A LOAD AND TENDS TO DEFORM, THE VARIATION OF THE STRESS, WHICH OCCURS DUE TO CONSTRAINING THE DEFORMATION BY STABILIZED BODIES IN THE GROUND SOIL IS ESTIMATED AND AT LEAST ONE OF THE CHANGES OF STRENGTH AND RIGIDITY OF THE GROUND DUE TO THE VARIATION OF THE STRESS ABOVE IS EVALUATED AS THE CONSTRAINT EFFECT OF THE GROUND BY THE STABILIZED BODIES. THEN THE SHAPE AND ARRANGEMENT OF STABILIZED BODIES ARE DETERMINED IN ORDER TO ACTIVATE THE CONFINING EFFECT OF THE GROUND. THE CHANGE OF STRESS IS EVALUATED AS AT LEAST ONE OF CHANGES OF NORMAL STRESS AND SHEAR STRESS WHICH ARE CAUSED AS A REACTION FORCE DUE TO THE CONSTRAINT EFFECT OF STABILIZED BODIES WHEN THE GROUND IS APPLIED WITH A LOAD.
