Abstract
The present invention provides the method for producing the alkyl glycidyl ether in the bipolar membrane electrodialyzer, including applying current to the composition (A) having a heterogeneous system (oil phase/aqueous phase) containing the chlorohydrin ether at a concentration of not less than 5% by weight, water, and the electrolyte in the electrodialyzer to convert the chlorohydrin ether to the alkyl glycidyl ether through the reaction with OH generated on the bipolar membrane and simultaneously to separate and collect the C1 side product in the form of HC1 (hydrochloric acid).
