Abstract
A method for increasing flamespeed of an internal combustion engine by burning a certain gasoline composition is provided. The gasoline composition contains (a) a major amount of a mixture of hydrocarbons in the gasoline boiling range and (b) a minor amount of at least one hydrocarbon having 5 to 12 carbon atoms and containing at least one cyclopropyl group and at least one acetylenic group. (Fig. 3)
