Abstract

For providing is a measuring method and a measuring device for measuring in the blend ration of FAME of a biodiesel blend and for measuring an ester ratio, which is the triglyceride ration in FAME. On a measuring device and method, an analysis vessel (1) is cylindrical, upright and a transparent vessel, the upper part of the analysis vessel (1) has a larger diameter portion (1a) as a sample inlet portion, the lower part of the analysis vessel has a smaller diameter portion (1b) providing a reading scale with which a surface boundary is measured, a lid (3) is on a top end of the larger diameter portion (1a), and the surface boundary is measured with the reading scale on the smaller diameter portion (1b) in a time after shaking a biodiesel blend and a sample (A) or receives neat FAME and a sample (B) with the lid (3) on.
