IN ACCORDANCE WITH EMBODIMENTS, THE SEMICONDUCTOR COMPONENT (10, 150, 200, 300, 320) INCLUDES A SUBSTRATE (12, 12A) HAVING A COMPONENT RECEIVING AREA (18) AND A PLURALITY OF BOND PADS (20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30, 32, 34, 36, 38, 40, 42). A SEMICONDUCTOR CHIP (48) IS ATTACHED TO THE COMPONENT RECEIVING AREA (18). AN ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR (62) IS COUPLED TO THE SEMICONDUCTOR CHIP (48) AND THE SUBSTRATE (12, 12A). A SECOND SEMICONDUCTOR CHIP (78) IS MOUNTED OR ATTACHED TO ONE OF THE ENDS OF THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR (62) SUCH THAT THIS END IS POSITIONED BETWEEN THE SEMICONDUCTOR CHIPS (48, 78). A SECOND ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR (92) IS COUPLED TO THE SECOND SEMICONDUCTOR CHIP. A THIRD SEMICONDUCTOR CHIP (118) IS MOUNTED OVER OR ATTACHED TO THE SECOND ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR (92) SUCH THAT A PORTION OF THE SECOND ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR (92) IS BETWEEN THE SECOND (48) AND THIRD (78) SEMICONDUCTOR CHIPS.
