Abstract

THE PRESENT INVENTION PROVIDES A TOOTHBRUSH WHICH ENABLES THE USER TO EASILY RECOGNIZE THE BRUSHING PRESSURE, AND ENABLES INTRAORAL CLEANING TO BE PERFORMED AT AN APPROPRIATE BRUSHING PRESSURE. THE PRESENT INVENTION RELATES TO A TOOTHBRUSH PROVIDED WITH A HEAD SECTION AND A HANDLE SECTION THAT EXTENDS TO THE HEAD SECTION, AND HAVING BRISTLE BUNDLES IMPLANTED IN A BRISTLE IMPLANTATION SURFACE OF THE HEAD SECTION. IN THE TOOTHBRUSH, A PROTRUDING SECTION WHICH PROTRUDES FROM THE REAR SIDE RELATIVE TO THE BRISTLE IMPLANTATION SURFACE OF THE TOOTHBRUSH, AND A SURROUNDING SECTION WHICH SURROUNDS THE PROTRUDING SECTION ARE FORMED IN THE HANDLE SECTION, THE PROTRUDING SECTION IS SHAPED SO THAT A PROTRUDING EDGE OF THE PROTRUDING SECTION PROTRUDES BEYOND THE SURROUNDING SECTION, AND WHEN THE PROTRUDING EDGE AND THE TIP END OF THE HANDLE SECTION ARE HELD IN FIXED POSITIONS AND A LOAD IS APPLIED TO THE HEAD SECTION FROM THE BRISTLE IMPLANTATION SURFACE, THE SURROUNDING SECTION CAN BE DISPLACED RELATIVELY IN THE DIRECTION OF THE PROTRUDING EDGE.
