Abstract

There is provided an absorbent article including a front exterior member and a back exterior member each of which has slits formed thereon, the vertical positions of the slits are different between the front exterior member and a back exterior member. An absorbent article (100) includes: a front exterior member (104) that is disposed along the lateral direction; and a back exterior member (106) hat is disposed along the lateral direction, a lateral end portion of the front exterior member (104) being connected to a lateral end portion of the back exterior member (106). The front exterior member (104) and the back exterior member (106) each includes a non-skin-side sheet (118) located on a non-skin side; a skin-side sheet (120) located on a skin side; and an elastic string (140) provided between the non-skin-side sheet (118) and the skin-side sheet (120). At least the non-skin-side sheet (118) of the front exterior member (104) has a plurality of linear, front slits (150) formed in a row.
