Abstract

A seamless tube (1; 2) is used for a heat exchanger tube of a cross-finned tube heat exchanger, and is formed of a copper alloy that includes 0.01 to 0.06 mass% of Fe or 0.04 to 0.06 mass% of Ni, and 0.004 to 0.040 mass% of P, with the balance being Cu and unavoidable impurities, the seamless tube having a ratio (t/D) of a thickness (mm) to an outer diameter (mm) of 0.04 or less, a tensile strength (σB) of 245 MPa or more, a 0.2% yield strength (σ0.2) of 130 MPa or less, and an elongation (δ) of 40% or more. The seamless tube exhibits high strength, and can be normally subjected to hairpin bending. Figure 1
