Abstract

A straddle-type vehicle (10) is provided with: a body frame (1); a swing arm (15) which is pivotally supported in a swinging fashion relative to the body frame (11) and which rotatably supports a rear wheel (13); a cushion unit (20) which is provided between the swing arm (15) and the body frame (11); and a cover member (30) which is disposed at least above the rear wheel (13). A recess portion (40) which is recessed towards a transverse center of a vehicle body is provided on the cover member (30) in a location where the cushion unit (20) and the body frame (11) are connected together. A cushion upper end portion (21) of the cushion unit (20) is positioned within the recess portion(40).
