Provided is a milk-containing coffee beverage in which an odor of heated milk generated during high-temperature sterilization is suppressed. The milk-containing coffee beverage produced by being allowed to pass through high-temperature sterilization has a total amount [(A)+ (B)] ofkahweol palmitate (A) and cafestol palmitate (B) set to be 0.5 mg/kg or more and 6.5 mg/kg or less.
