The present invention relates to a system (100) and method for inspecting poultry slaughtering. The system (100) is used to determine whether the slaughtered poultry are in compliance with Islamic law or not. Thus, the system (100) is able to determine whether the slaughtered poultry are halal or non-halal for consumption. The system (100) comprises of a detection module (110), a communication and control module (120), an image acquisition module (130), a death inspection module (140), and a vision inspection module (150). These modules are suitably integrated to an automated processing machine having multiple stations for processing poultry and at least one conveyor line for transferring the poultry from one station to another station by using poultry hangers, wherein the multiple stations include a hanging station, a slaughtering station, an organ removal station, scalding station, and feather picking station.
