Abstract

A continuously cast and rolled material formed from a pure aluminum is cold-rolled at a rolling reduction ratio of 30 to 70%. Then, a high-temperature precipitation treatment is performed on the material at 500?C to 640?C for a time equal to or longer than one hour and then cold rolling is performed. After that, a finish annealing is performed at 220 to 300?C. Despite being a continuously cast and rolled material, the aluminum material provided by the production method achieves a post-finish annealing elongation of 25% or greater, and allows the drawing work of a fin that requires high elongation characteristic.
