A method of producing a plywood from veneers of palm tree trunk comprising the steps of treating dried veneers with phenol formaldehyde resin; laying a plurality of resin-treated veneers (1) with adhesive (2) being applied in between each veneer (1), the adhesive (2) comprising a mixture of urea formaldehyde resin, filler, and a hardener; and pressing the plurality of veneers (1) to form the plywood.
