Abstract

A washing machine (10) is provided with an exterior housing (11 ); a water tub (19); a rotary tub (18); water feeding means; supplying means configured to feed a fabric conditioner to the water tub (19); and a controlling means. The controlling means is configured to be capable of performing a rinse step in which the laundry is rinsed in the water tub (I 9) containing water and a dehydrate step in which the laundry is dehydrated by rotating the rotary tub (18) at high speed by selectively following either a standard specification or a scenting specification, the standard specification designed to perform the rinse step and the dehydrate step according to a predetermined recipe and the scenting specification designed to perform a final rinse step of the rinse step, executed by feeding the fabric conditioner into the water tub (19) by the supplying means, for a longer time period compared to the standard specification.
