Abstract

An injection molding decoration method whereby a pattern of an injection molding transfer foil can be attached uniformly. A foil pressing elastic body (135) made of an elastic material is provided on a foil pressing frame (105) opposing a parting face (104a) of a first mold (104). A recess section (114) is provided in the parting face (104a), and the end portions are held strongly by the parting face (104a) and the face of a thin portion (145) which contacts an injection molding transfer foil ( 103) , and by the wedge effect of a thick portion (155) which is inserted into the recess section (114), with the width direction of the injection molding transfer foil ( 103) being held by the parting face (104a) and the face of the thick portion (155) to prevent occurrence of wrinkles or fractures of the pattern in a molded article.
