Abstract

A dust-seal cover that is configured to protect a dust seal (11) that is slidably in contact with an outer circumferential surface of a piston rod (3) inserted into a cylinder tube (2) so as to be movable in a reciprocating manner and that scrapes off dust adhered to the outer circumferential surface of the piston rod (3) is provided. The dust-seal cover includes a cover portion (25) that is formed so as to cover at least a part of the dust seal (11) and that faces, at a tip end portion thereof, the outer circumferential surface of the piston rod (3) with a predetermined gap, and a holder that is configured to press and hold the cover portion (25) on the outer circumferential surface of the cylinder tube (2).
