Abstract

A milk-containing coffee beverage with high drinkability is provided, the beverage characterized by a control of heated milk odor that develops in high temperature sterilization of the beverage. The milk-containing coffee beverage includes insoluble coffee powder having a median diameter of 50 to 300 ?m obtained by pulverizing roasted coffee beans, an extract of roasted coffee beans obtained by subjecting a ground form of roasted coffee beans to extraction, a vegetable oil/fat, and a milk constituent, wherein the milk-containing coffee beverage undergoes high temperature sterilization for production.
