Abstract

An orthosis insole for a foot (1) is characterized by an insole unit (6, 6') that includes. a base (2, 52) including a top surface (25, 525), an inner lateral side (21, 521) proximate to a medial part (11) of a longitudinal arch of the foot (1), and an outer lateral side (22, 522) proximate to a lateral part (12) of the longitudinal arch of the foot (1), and an arch correction portion (3, 523) projecting upwardly from the top surface (25, 525) in a region of the top surface (25, 525) corresponding to an intermediate part of the lateral part (12) of the longitudinal arch of the foot (1) . When the orthosis insole is in use, the arch correction portion (3, 523) supports the bottom of the foot (1) and compensates forces of outward rotational movements of the foot (1) to thereby correct the position of the foot (1).
