Abstract

The present invention relates to a tri-reformer and a tri-reforming system using the same. The tri-reformer includes: a tri-reforming unit mounted with a multichannel reaction module in which a tri-reforming catalyst is dispersed; a raw material supply nozzle through which natural gas, steam, and carbon dioxide as gaseous raw materials are supplied to the tri-reforming unit; a catalytic combustion burner surrounded by the multichannel reaction module, arranged at the center of the reactor, and having a combustion zone on which a combustion catalyst is supported; supply nozzles through which an oxidizing agent and natural gas are introduced into the catalytic combustion burner, respectively; and a plurality of supply nozzles arranged in the combustion zone and through which the oxidizing agent and the natural gas are supplied from the catalytic combustion burner to the combustion catalyst. The reactor of the present invention can be applied to plants for the production of clean fuels, such as DME and GTL. In addition, the reactor of the present invention can be reduced in volume by about 50% when applied to commercial plants, enabling the production of syngas with the same performance at reduced cost.
