Abstract

A mechanism for preventing gas transfer and controlling gas discharge rate of a cooking gas valve, comprising a body section (I) formed into a hollow cylindrical body served as a gas flow passage (2) through which gas can flow into and out of the gas tank, wherein one lateral side of the body section (I) is a safety valve set chamber (6), inside of which a safety valve set is installed, an inserting cylindrical rod (28) formed into a hollow cylindrical shape with a diameter relative to that of the primary gas flow passage (2), a spring (30) inserted into the inserting cylindrical rod (28), a valve stem (17) rested on the top of the spring (30), the upper body (33) of the valve stem (17) being provided with a seal (34) to prevent gas leakage, a lower inserting cylindrical rod (5) having a hollow cylindrical shape with the middle part of its vertical body inside the lower inserting cylindrical rod (5) being a hollow cylindrical slot for receiving the gas transfer preventing valve (20), and a securing sleeve (22) attached to the inner surface of the body section (I) above the upper entrance of the secondary gas flow passage (2) having an inner threaded surface (4).
