Abstract

A taping apparatus (10) includes a pressing member (11) for pressing one of a carrier tape (P) and a cover tape (Q) against the other at a bonding position (T) so as to perform bonding, a transfer mechanism (12) that transfers the carrier tape (P) in a state where the carrier tape (P) is provided with a tension region (S) along a range from an upstream side of a joining position (J) to a downstream side of the bonding position (T), an upper guide (23) disposed above the tension region (S), and a push-up mechanism (34) configured to press the tension region (S) entirely or partially against the upper guide (23) from below.
