Abstract

A method of scheduling and forwarding data messages to a plurality of neighbouring relay stations, RSs from a base station, BS in mesh topology in uplink and downlink direction is provided, the method includes the steps of: i) sensing the plurality of relay neighbouring relay stations, RSs by sending an relay station, RS group measurement request message to request for all or pmi of the plurality of relay neighbouring relay stations, RSs for reporting their measurement results; ii) transmitting the measurement results by the relay station, RS on an RS multicast management connection identifier, CID to all the plurality of relay neighbouring relay stations, RSs within radio range; iii) checking each of the relay station, RS by checking a packet RS designation address; iv) calculating a path for a designated RS, DRS by using virtual_list formulation for a traffic based dynamic mesh network.
