Abstract

he present invention relates to an amphibious vehicle (10) comprising a center mounting platform (11) provided with an attaching means to operationally configure a working machine thereon; at least a pair of extendable pontoon members (12, 13) having outer and inner walls, a substantially wide base surface and sufficient buoyancy to float on water; fastening means adjustably connecting and supporting said pontoon members (12, 13) to said central mounting platform (11); a track system (14) being provided on said pontoon members (12, 13) and adapted to propel the vehicle on soft and swampy terrain; and actuating means being symmetrically provided within said central mounting platform (12, 13) and operationally configured with said fastening means, said actuating means being adapted to retract or extend said pontoon members (12, 13) from said central mounting platform (11) in order to adjust the breadth of said pontoon members (12, 13).
