Abstract

The present invention relates to a stay-in-place formwork assembly (100) comprising a pair of wall panels (300) and a plurality of spacer assemblies (200) connecting the pair of wall panels (300), characterised in that each of said plurality of spacer assemblies (200) independently comprises: a pair of board panels (210) mounted on the pair of wall panels (300), each having a tongue (212) and a groove (213), and a plurality of female connectors (211) disposed at a side of each of the pair of board panels (210); and a connecting means (220) having a plurality of male connectors (221); wherein the connecting means (220) connects the pair of board panels (210) by engaging the plurality of male connectors (221) with the plurality of females connectors (211).
