Abstract

A planar antenna (100) includes an antenna substrate (1) formed of a dielectric, a radiation element (4) formed upon the antenna substrate (1), a copper foil for sealing (5) formed in a region different from a region where the radiation element (4), a feed line (9) formed under the antenna substrate (1) and electrically connected to the radiation element ( 4 ), an antenna case (2) that a lower side of the antenna substrate (1), and an antenna frame (3) adhered to the copper foil for sealing (5) upon the antenna substrate(1) by a seal material (6). Thus, it is possible to provide a planar antenna that can prevent a reduction in airtightness and a manufacturing method thereof.
