Abstract

The invention relates to a method of producing a security paper sheet (30) for security documents or documents of value (10) wherein the security paper sheet is provided in an intaglio printing step with at least one intaglio printing motif (12, 14) with a raised relief structure, and wherein according to the invention during the intaglio printing step a plurality of equalizing elements (16) distributed over the area of the security paper sheet are additionally produced with a raised relief structure for equalizing the profile of the security paper sheet. (Figure 1)
