Abstract

An induction heat seal with a ring-shaped handle to allow easy removal of the seal from the container, comprises a transparent and rigid plastic layer, a PET layer, an aluminum foil layer as well as a heat sealable layer below the foil. The ring-shaped handle allows the seal to be lifted with only one finger and hence can be removed easily. For dry lamination, the gravure roller is specially designed to apply glue to only the designated area to enable more efficient transfer of force to remove the seal. For die cutting, the die cutting mould is designed to apply full cut on the outer perimeter of the seal and partially cut on the inner circle to produce the ring-shaped handle.
