Abstract
The present invention generally relates to a system and method for enhancing handover in wireless networks, more particularly the present invention relates to a system and method for declining handover latency in wireless networks, wherein the system comprises a mobile station (101) and a plurality of base stations (102) including a serving base station (103) and a target base station (104). The system and method decline the handover latency by overlapping of the decision phase and the preparation phase of handover process in a wireless network.
