Abstract
The invention concerns a method and a device (1) for treating and conditioning liquid sludge (2), and a solidified sludge cake obtained by said method, wherein a first emulsions (14) of sludge is formed in an inA-line container (5,6) fed at a first flow rate Q (m3/h), owing to the impact of the slidge with air (13) injected into the container at a rate Q' (Nm3/h) where Q' >SQ, in a first region (8) which has a small volume of less than O. OS m3 , in order to produce the first emulsion (14), which is then transferred into a second region ( 16) of the container extending over a first specific length and is then discharged a component which generates a head loss (18) in a chamber (19) extending over a second specific length L2. At least one flocuulant (22) is injected, in order to obtain a second, coagulated, emulsion (23), which is at least partially degasified.
