Abstract

The present invention is related to a soymilk with added cereal grains packed in a packaging means using ultra-heat treatment (UHT) manufacturing process. The present invention contains mainly soymilk and it is added with cereal grains which may be selected from the following raw materials such as corn, brown rice, barley, black bean, red bean, green gram, Job's tears, konnyaku-pearl, soybean curd, and basil seeds. The soymilk is then aseptically filled into packaging means using ultra-heat treatment (UHT) manufacturing process. The soymilk does not only provide an ultra-heat treatment (UHT) liquid soymilk for drinking but also, the added cereal grains will encourage provide chewing action while drinking. In order to make the soymilk more palatable, sugar or sweeteners, food additives as stabilizer and salts are added into the soymilk. The soymilk is further made healthier by adding other nutritive value substances. The soymilk mixed with all the ingredients is subjected to ultra-heat treatment (UHT) manufacturing process to ensure food safety and is filled immediately and aseptically into the packaging means. Alternatively, the soymilk can be mixed with other ingredients first without the cereal grains and the soymilk will be filled immediately and aseptically into the packaging means simultaneously with the cereal grains which has been subjected to ultra-heat treatment (UHT).
