This invention provides a masking tape that comprises a support comprising and a PSA layer on a first face of the support. The PSA layer comprises a rubber-based polymer and an acrylic polymer at a rubber-based polymer to acrylic polymer blend ratio of 40/60 or higher, but 95/5 or lower. Fig. 1
