Abstract

A method for overlock sewing without remaining thread portion is revealed. In a distance of movement of at least one stitch before an overlock sewing machine (1) being stopped and during an upward movement of an upper sewing needle (12), a thread loop pushing device (15) pushes a loop (122) formed by a thread (121) of the upper sewing needle (12) away from original position. Thus a first lower shuttle needle (13) will not pass through the loop (122) of the upper sewing needle (12) when the first lower shuttle needle (13) drives the thread (131) to move toward a second lower shuttle needle (14). A skip stitch is formed and the threads (121), (131) of the upper sewing and the first lower shuttle needles (12), (13) are not netted. The threads (131), (141) of the first and the second shuttle needles (13), (14) are not connected to the needle plate. Thereby the aesthetic look of the fabric will not be affected by remaining thread portion. (Figure 1)
