Abstract

The invention relates to an arrangement (1) for fastening an overhead line (2) to a mast, having an overhead line (2), which is fastened to the mast by means of an insulator (5), and a line arrester (7) with an external serial spark gap (10). In order to mount the line arrester (7) when the overhead line (2) is under high voltage, a fastening apparatus (6) is provided, the line arrester (7) being connected to an earthing point (3) by means of said fastening apparatus in such a way that the line arrester (7) can be pivoted between a secure mounting position and a working position and can be locked in the mounting position, wherein the spark gap (10) is larger in the mounting position than in the working position.
