Abstract
The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition useful for treating Sjogren's syndrome dry eye, including ozagrel or a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient. The pharmaceutical composition of the present invention exerts a noticeable, excellent therapeutic effect to cornea and conjunctival epithelium disorders in Sjogren's syndrome dry eye, which have a stronger tendency to remain even after general instillation of a dry-eye therapeutic agent (e.g., artificial tear solution) to the eye. Therefore, the pharmaceutical composition of the present invention is useful as a pharmaceutical composition for treating Sjogren's syndrome dry eye.
