Abstract
The present invention relates to a method for thermal integration in the production of saturated C3-C20 alcohols, in which a hydrogenation feed containing at least one C3- C20 aldehyde is hydrogenated in a hydrogenation zone in the presence of a hydrogen-containing gas, an output is discharged from the hydrogenation zone and subjected to distillation in at least one distillation column, wherein a fraction enriched with saturated C3-C20 alcohols is obtained.
