Abstract

The external appearance of the vehicle body combining a plurality of component parts, in particular the external appearance of the interface between the lamp and the bumper face is improved. A laterally middle part of a bumper face ( 1) is secured to the bumper beam ( 4) by using threaded bolts (7a) via safety plates (6) fixedly secured to the bumper beam, and a part of vertical ribs (11) formed on the back side of a front grill (2) integral with the bumper face are supported by a grill support bracket ( 13) fixedly attached to the bumper beam. Each lateral end of the bumper face is connected to a front side fender (8) via a spacer (9). A gap between a headlight (3) and the bumper face is kept fixed in a laterally outer part of the vehicle body by using a positioning piece (14a) provided in the spacer, and the vertical position of the laterally middle part of the bumper face is adjusted by a plastic deformation of the grill support bracket. The external appearance is improved by using a simple structure. FIG.7
