Abstract

This disposable diaper is provided with a first exterior part (12F), a second exterior part (12R), and an absorbent main body (16) having three-dimensional gathers (21). The first exterior part (12F) and the second exterior part (12R) form a waist surrounding part (10W). At least one of the first exterior part (12F) and the second exterior part (12R) is provided with an upper region (12U) and a lower region (12D) located below and in contact with the upper region (12U). The upper region (12U) is provided with an upper stretchable member (15U). The lower region (12D) is provided with a lower stretchable member (15D). The upper stretchable member (15U) is located on the inner side of the absorbent main body (16) in the waist surrounding part (10W). The lower stretchable member (15D) is located on the outer side of the absorbent main body (16) in the waist surrounding part (10W). The front-rear direction ends of the three-dimensional gathers (21) are located in a region above the lower end of the waist surrounding part (10W). Most Illustrative Drawing: Fig. 2
