Abstract

The present invention provides a container opening formed lightweight while ensuring good sealability. The inventive container opening (11) includes, in its inner circumferential face, a thin-walled part (11b) extending from a position on more leading end side than a part contacted by an inner ring (24) when a cap (20) is fitted, to the leading end. The thin-walled part (11b) includes at least a first thin-walled part (11b1) formed on a base side and a second thin-walled part (11b2) formed on the leading end side and having a shape different from the first thin-walled part (11b1). The first thin-walled part (11b1) is formed of a curved face that is convex toward the inside.
