Abstract

There is provided steelmaking slag for fertilizer raw material, containing, in mass%, P2O5: more than or equal to 2% and less than or equal to 8%, MnO: more than or equal to 3% and less than or equal to 10%, boron: more than or equal to 0.005% and less than 0.05%, the total iron: more than or equal to 15% and less than or equal to 30%, CaO: more than or equal to 29% and less than 38%, SiO2: more than or equal to 16% and less than 22%, sulfur: more than or equal to 0.1% and less than or equal to 0.6%, MgO: more than or equal to 4% and less than or equal to 8%, and A12O3: more than or equal to 0.5% and less than or equal to 3%. A ratio of soluble P2O5 in the P2O5 is more than or equal to 50%, a ratio of citric acid- soluble MnO in the MnO is more than or equal to 80%, a slag basicity expressed by (a CaO content/a SiO2 content) is more than 1.5 and less than or equal to 2.2, and a bulk specific gravity is more than or equal to 2.3 and less than or equal to 3.2.
