Abstract

A liquid cartridge (30) is configured to be inserted into a liquid consuming apparatus (10) in a first direction (51, 57) along a horizontal direction against an urging force directed in a second direction (52, 58) opposite the first direction (51, 57), and thereby to be mounted to the liquid consuming apparatus (10). The liquid cartridge (30) is configured to pivot about a pivot center (O) in the liquid consuming apparatus (10). The liquid cartridge (30) includes a lower face (42, 142), and the lower face (42, 142) includes a first portion (142) and a second portion (42) which are positioned further in the second direction (52, 58) than the pivot center (O). The second portion (42) is positioned further in the second direction (52, 58) than the first portion (142) and is positioned further in the upward direction (54) than the first portion (142).
