Abstract

The present invention provides a lid of a cooking container which lid can be easily opened and closed and has an upper surface on which an object can be placed. A preserving lid (5) is a lid of an inner pot (4) and has an upper surface (5A) which includes a first flat surface (61) on which an object is to be placed. In a part of the first flat surface (61), a second recessed part (64) is provided which has a handle (66) therein. The handle (66) does not protrude upward from the first flat surface (61) in a case where the object is placed on the first flat surface (61). (Fig.1)
