Abstract
A solid fuel production plant (2) includes: a separation unit (21) which separates oil and water from palm oil mill effluent discharged from an oil refining plant (1) which refines essential oil from fresh fruit bunches containing oil and fat so that fuel oil (F) and treatment water (W) are separated; a heat treatment unit (23) which performs a heat treatment on empty fruit bunches discharged from the oil refining plant (1) to generate fuel; and a fuel oil supply line (L1) which supplies the fuel oil (F) to the heat treatment unit (23), and the fuel oil (F) is used as the fuel of the heat treatment unit (23). According to this configuration, since the fuel oil (F) obtained from the palm oil mill effluent discharged from the oil refining plant (1) is used when solid fuel is generated, the efficiency of the solid fuel production plant (2) can be improved.
